Preferred candidate profile should have:
* Located in Istanbul
* Degree in computer sciences or related areas
* Good understanding of object oriented concepts and technologies such
as software architectures, design patterns and best practices
* Good understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies
* Experience in Java (1.6 is a plus), J2EE, JSP/Servlet, Ajax
* Experience in Web Services (Spring-WS or Axis is a plus)
* Experience in source control systems (CVS or SVN)
* Experience in build tools (Ant or Maven)
* Experience or knowledge in web frameworks such as GWT, JSF (MyFaces,
RichFaces or IceFaces), Struts2
* Experience in frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate is MUST
* Experience in SQL usage (stored procedures, triggers etc) in RDMBS
systems (especially in Oracle)
* Experience in servlet Containers (i.e. Tomcat) and application
servers (i.e. JBoss)
* Experience in relational databases and database design (preferably
Oracle)
* Knowledge on Linux/Unix platforms
* Superior analytical and problem solving skills
* Being a good team member
* Good technical documentation skills
* Articulate in English
* No military service obligation (or postponed for 2 years) for the
male candidates
Preferences:
* Development experience with Apache, Tomcat and JBOSS
* Additional development skills in Oracle, Web services
* Experience in SOA systems is a plus
* Network Infrastructure & NMS (SNMP, Motive, IP/DSL)
* Experience in telecommunications domain is a big plus
* Being certified in Java or J2EE is a plus
* Data modeling and PL/SQL knowledge is another plus
