Microsoft is like an over-protective but loving mother, giving, feeding, showing, teaching, helping her child. Whereas Linux is a bad habit of a drunken, drug-addict one; paying no attention to her children, leaving them to grow without care.
The result is, the children of the first, always have great results, even in the beginning phase and they become experts easily. But the other child has two options: either to be driven into void because of the harshness of his growing, and eventually fail; and the other option is, rarely, to show outstanding success because of knowing how to fight against waves and developing his inner self to be tougher.
